Cash Pool SuperBru Competition

For many years I have believed that the scoring system in SuperBru leaves a lot to be desired.
Despite many e-mails between us, they are adamant that their scoring system is the best available.
My three major gripes with their scoring system are :

1)  How can you give a margin point to a member who has chosen the losing team ?
2)  Only giving a margin point within 5 points means there is no difference between a margin of 6 points or 60+ points.
     With 7 points available for a last minute try, glory often becomes despair which is not fair
3)  The bonus point for an exact pick is diminished when there are so many members in a pool

With that in mind I have created my very own SuperBru pool based on all the members in the real SuperBru pool and will be applying my own scoring rules to the picks in an attempt to see if I have found a better scoring system.

Cash Pool SuperBru Scoring Rules

Predicting the winning team - 2 Points 
Getting the margin exact - 1 bonus point
Margin within 5 points - 0.75 bonus points
Margin within 10 points - 0.50 bonus points
Margin within 15 points - 0.25 bonus points
